InstaForex pays the highest affiliate commission in the market, and this fact could be easily proved. Unfortunately, competitors play with numbers every once in a while to mislead potential partners. Thus, some brokerage firms offer their partners an affiliate commission of 8 USD per lot, which, of course, sounds more appealing than 0.8 pips per trade.
To make it easier for you to understand the calculations, we have compiled a table:
InstaForex commissions for major currency pairs*:
Pips | 1.5 2 |
---|---|
USD per market lot | 15 20 |
Percentage of spread | 50% 67% |
Spread | 3 pips |
*major currency pairs: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CHF, USD/CAD, etc.
Above all else, one lot in our company is equivalent to 10,000 USD, while a market lot is equal to 100,000 USD (read more about it here).
In other words, the size of a market lot is 10 times higher than that of an Insta lot, as well as the partner’s commission. See details in the table:
Lot | Lot size | Partner’s commission in USD per lot |
---|---|---|
Insta Lot | 10000 | 1.5-2 |
Market Lot | 100000 | 15-20 |
** major currency pairs: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY
The information on remuneration for each trading instrument is available on the Affiliate commission specification page.
So, if a broker that uses market lots has offered to pay you 8 USD of commission, know that this amount is twice as low as what InstaForex pays to its partners. An affiliate commission in our company is 15-20 USD per lot.
